OverviewThe Cleric is first and foremost a healer. He is the best buffer and best at absorbing damage of the healing classes. One of his defining abilities is a melee attack that allows him to regain energy (mana). Clerics are also very effective against the undead.II. Weapon Type/ArmorCleric’s can wear heavy armor and can use one-handed blunt weapons, two handed blunt weapons, thowing hammers and shields. IV. StancesClerics have two main stances to choose from:Healer’s Focus – Healing done by spells increases, but advoidance ability decreases. Castigator’s Fury – Damage done by spells and melee attacks increases, but casting time and endurance cost is increased. V. BuffsClerics get many group buffs that help including ones that increase spiritual resistance, Strength, constitution, wisdom, intelligence, hitpoints, armor class and health and endurance regeneration.VI. Replenishing AttackClerics have a unique melee attack called Replenishing Attack that allows them to recover energy (mana). The Cleric can then use his endurance pool to somewhat replenish his energy (mana) pool. This can lead to some very long epic fights.VII. ChainsThe Cleric chains, unlike Offensive fighter or protective fighter chains, are only two abilities long. There is an opener and a finisher but no bridge. The Cleric gets her first chain at level 6 with Hand of Censure used as an opener and Fist of Rebuke as a Finisher. VIII. Direct DamageClerics can do a moderate amount of damage using their Anathema line of spells. IX. UndeadClerics have many spells and abilities that do more damage against the undead. They also have the ability to Turn the undead.X. Turning Attempt PointsA Cleric starts with one maximum total turning point and gets an additional turning point every ten levels. At level 15 for example a Cleric will have 2 maximum turning points. A turning point can be used on the spell Turn the Undead. It takes 72 minutes (or one full Telon day) for a Turning Point to regenerate. XI. Known Spells and AbilitiesCleric spells and abilities level 1 Anathema I – Attacks the target’s spirit doing moderate damage. Healing Touch I – The spell heals an ally for a small amount of health. Hand of Censure – Melee attack that deals additional damage and spirit damage over time. This attack does increased damage vs. undead targets. Opening attack. Cleric spells and abilities level 2. Resolution I – Single (used to be a group buff until last patch) target Buff that boosts an ally’s potential hitpoints and grants a large bonus to armor class. Lasts 60 minutes. Gift of Ardor – Group buff that increases group’s accuracy and damage for a short period of time. Lasts 60 minutes. Cleric spells and abilities level 4. Endowment of Fervor – Group Buff that raises the groups Dexterity and Constitution. Ward Shield – Protects the Cleric from the next two incoming attacks. Power of Reprisal – Cleric only buff. Adds a chance for the Cleric’s spirit attacks to do additional damage. Cleric Spells and abilities Level 6Purification I – This spell partially cures an ally afflicted with poison. Rejuvenate I – Heals an ally for a large amount of health. Fist of Rebuke – Finishing attack. Stuns opponent for 2 seconds. Anathema II – Attacks the target’s spirit doing moderate damage.Cleric Spells and abilities Level 8 Replenishing Attack – Deals less damage than other attacks but replenishes a random amount of energy (mana). Divine Barrier – Encases the Cleric in a barrier of divine energy for 18 seconds. While in this barrier he cannot be affected by any spells, or melee attacks nor can the Cleric use any spells or abilities. Bestowal of Brilliance – Group Buff that increases intelligence and wisdom. Cleric Spells and abilities Level 10 Spiritual Guardian I – Rescue. Rescues your defensive target from an incoming attack causing the enemy to target you for 2 seconds. Your defensive target gains 20% spiritual resistance as well as a rune that absorbs 50% damage from the next hit.Remedy I – Heal over time (HoT). Heals an Ally for a moderate amount of health over time. Turn Undead – Large instant spiritual damage, large damage over time (DoT), slowed attack speed and casting speed, reduced movement speed and chance to instantly slay lower level undead. This spell costs no mana but costs special Turning Attempt points. Resurrection – Brings a fallen ally back to life. Summon Gem of Life – Summons a gem of life into an ally’s backpack that can be used to revive you or another fallen Cleric. Other notable spells and abilities after level 10: Aegis of Blades (Level 12) – Summons a shield of blades that deals damage over time to all nearby opponents. Renewal I (Level 12) – Group Buff. Increases health, and endurance regeneration rates. Spirit Reward (Level 14) Group Buff. Increases resistance to spiritual attacks. Hero’s Call - ( Level 18) Summons an ally to your side. Call distance is restricted and can only be used in certain areas. Shroud of Health (Level 20) Group Heal. Invisible to Undead – (Level 24) Lull ( Level 30) – Calms the target.
