OverviewThe Disciple looks and feels like a martial artist but the Disciple is first and foremost a healer. Her weapon and armor choices resemble that of a martial artist. The Disciple can use her inner energy to form powerful bonds with her allies and enemies. The Disciple uses her melee attacks to heal her allies and replenish energy. The Disciple is the most melee orientated of the healer classes and is the only healer class that has counter attacks and a counter spell.II. Weapon Type/ArmorDisciples can wear medium armor and can wield martial staffs, knuckles, martial swords, hand to hand, two-handed piercing, and two-handed slashing weapons. IV. Focus BondsDisciples can use their inner energy to form powerful bonds with either their allies or enemies. The Disciple’s bonds can increase Allies’ health regeneration, endurance regeneration, combat damage, or transfer energy to the disciples ally. Only one bond can be used at a time.V. HealingThe Disciple is first and foremost a healer. He has 2 and 4 second heals like the other healer classes. The Disciple, unlike the other healing classes, does not have a normal group heal but a group heal over time (AOE HoT) spell. Like the other healing classes the Disciple can manipulate his non-energy pools to keep his group alive. He can use either his endurance pool or energy pool to heal his defensive target.VI. BuffsDisciples have a limited number of buffs compared to Clerics and Shamans. They have 3 buffs that increase their group’s strength, dexterity, armor class, and physical and mental resistances.VII. Chain and Melee AttacksDisciple attacks cause low damage but their attacks can do more than cause damage. Disciples have special attacks and chain attacks that are quite flexible and can be used either as an opener, bridge or finishing attack. The benefits of using a special attack depend on how it is used. Many chains can be used to regain energy or to heal the Disciple’s defensive target.VIII. Counter AttacksDisciples get many reactive counter attacks which add bonuses. Many of the Disciple’s counterattacks are dependent on the disciple dodging or feinting. Disciples are the only healer class that gets counter attacks.IX. Counter SpellsDisciples are the only healer class that gets a counter spell. The Disciple has a chance to identify a spell being used by an enemy and counter it. The counter spell could either completely nullify the spell or change the enemy spell into something beneficial to his group. The Disciple has one counter spell received at level 20: Divert Tenacity. This spell can convert an enemy spell into endurance.X. Redirecting EnergyThe Disciple can redirect many of her energy pools. She has the ability to convert health into energy and can heal using endurance with her special melee attacks. She can also drain endurance from her enemies and transfer it to her defensive target.XI. AttributesThe Disciples primary attributes are vitality and wisdom. Vitality benefits the Disciple’s healing abilities. Wisdom increases the Disciples energy pool and his perception abilities.XII. UtilityThe Disciple gets many utility spells including summon, feign death, energy drains and a somewhat limited crowd control ability.XIII. Known Spells and AbilitiesLevel 1
- Celestial Breeze I - Slow 4 second heal, that heals an ally for a large amount of health.
- Thundering Fists - This ability strikes your opponent with the fury of thunder for a moderate amount of damage.
Level 2
- Dodge I - Raises your chance to dodge incoming attacks by 80% for 60 seconds or until you dodge.
- Blessed Wind -This attack strikes at the faith of your opponent. If used as an opener, it deals a small amount of damage and heals your defensive target over time. If used as a bridge, it deals a small amount of damage and heals your defensive target for a moderate amount.
- Kiss of the Slug I - Counterattack that lowers your opponent's damage by 15% and strength by 10% for 3 attacks or 15 seconds. Can only be used after a dodge.
Level 4
- Soul Cutter - This attack strikes at the soul of your opponent. If used as an opener, it deals a large amount of damage and your opponent feels slightly intimidated and less willing to fight you. If used as a bridge, it deals a large amount of damage and your opponent feels very intimidated and less willing to fight you.
Level 6
- Kiss of Heaven I - This ability forms a harmonious bound with your ally, greatly increasing health regeneration.
- Breath of Renewal I – Fast two second heal. Heals an ally by a small amount and splashes health to your group members close by.
Level 8
- Wisdom of the Grasshopper I - This ability raises your allies' strength greatly and their dexterity slightly.
- Precept of Tranquility I – AOE Heal over time. Heals them for a small amount of health over time. 2.0 second cast time.
- Torment – Direct Damage spell that deals a moderate amount of damage.
Level 10
- Reincarnate I - This ability brings a fallen ally back to life with a small amount of health.
- Celestial Breeze II – Slow 4 second heal, that heals an ally for a large amount of health.
- Summon Symbol of Unity - This ability will summon a spirit orb, which someone may use to revive you or a different fallen shaman.
- Kiss of the Slug II - Counterattack that lowers your opponent's damage by 20% and strength by 15% for 3 attacks or 15 seconds. Can only be used after a dodge.
Level 12
- Void Hand - This attack strikes at the heart of your opponent. If used as an opener, it deals moderate damage and lower dexterity for a moderate amount of time. If used as a bridge, it deals moderate damage and lowers agility for a moderate amount of time. This attack can deal greater damage against an enraged enemy.
- Touch of Woe - This ability forms a dissonant bout with your opponent, forcing your opponent to take damage at every attack. Once the bound is severed, your enemy no longer takes damage upon attacking.
- Favor of the Crow I - This ability moderately raises the physical resistance and armor class of your allies.
Level 14
- Sun and Moon Discipline – Converts your health into energy (mana).
- Discipline of Harmony - This ability instantly heals an ally, other than yourself, for a small amount of health. This ability becomes more effective with each successive use.
- Astral Walk – Summon. This ability calls one of your allies across the astral plane to your spot in the temporal world.
Level 16
- Kiss of Heaven II - This ability forms a harmonious bond with your ally, greatly increasing health regeneration.
- Breath of Renewal II - Fast two second heal. Heals an ally by a small amount and splashes health to your group members close by.
- Fleeting Feet - This ability allows you to increase your running speed for a short time.
- Impenetrable Mind I - This ability raises the mental resistance of your allies.
Level 18
- Bite of the Stirge -This attack strikes at the spirit of your opponent. If used as an opener, you deal a moderate amount of damage and drain your opponent's endurance. If used as a bridge, you deal a moderate amount of damage and drain your opponent's health. This attack does greater damage against an enemy suffering a mental lapse.
- Gift of Anguish I - This ability forms a harmonious bound with your ally, allowing more damage to be done in combat.
Level 20
- Divert Tenacity - This ability counters a spell cast at you and turns it into endurance.
- Precept of Tranquility II - AOE Heal over time. Heals them for a small amount of health over time. 2.0 second cast time.
- Kiss of the Slug III - Counterattack that lowers your opponent's damage by 25% and strength by 20% for 3 attacks or 15 seconds. Can only be used after a dodge.
Level 22
- Wisdom of the Grasshopper II - This ability raises your allies' strength greatly and their dexterity slightly.
- Feint I - You feint, preventing your target from attacking for 1 seconds.
- Paralyzing Touch I - Counterattack that stuns your opponent for 15 seconds or until they are hit. Can only be used after a dodge.
Level 24
- Leech's Grasp I - This ability forms a dissonant bond with your opponent, draining endurance over time.
- Celestial Breeze III - Slow 4 second heal, that heals an ally for a large amount of health.
Level 26
- Essence Thief - This attack strikes at the essence of your opponent, dealing minor damage and draining energy.
- Kiss of Heaven III - This ability forms a harmonious bound with your ally, greatly increasing health regeneration.
- Dodge II - Raises your chance to dodge incoming attacks by 90% for 60 seconds or until you dodge.
- Breath of Renewal III - Fast two second heal. Heals an ally by a small amount and splashes health to your group members close by.
Level 28
- Favor of the Crow II - This ability moderately raises your allies’ physical resistance and Armour class greatly.
- Precept of Tranquility III - AOE Heal over time. Heals them for a small amount of health over time. 2.0 second cast time.
- Astral Gale I - Counterattack that drains 465 endurance from your opponent and gives it to your defensive target. Can only be used after a feint.
Level 30
- Impenetrable Mind II - This ability raises the mental resistance of your allies.
- Kiss of the Slug IV - Counterattack that lowers your opponent's damage by 30% and strength by 25% for 3 attacks or 15 seconds. Can only be used after a dodge.
Level 32
- Kiss of Torment I – Counterattack that deals damage to your opponent. Can only be used after a feint.
- Paralyzing Touch II - Counterattack that stuns your opponent for 20 seconds or until they are hit. Can only be used after a dodge.
Level 34
- Gift of Anguish II - This ability forms a harmonious bond with your ally, allowing more damage to be done in combat.
- Feign Death – This ability allows you to fake your own death. Opponents will perceive your character as being dead and will ignore you. Opponents will not always fall for this ability.
- Feint II - You feint, preventing your target from attacking for 2seconds.
Level 36
- Kiss of Heaven IV - This ability forms a harmonious bond with your ally, greatly increasing health regeneration.
- Leech's Grasp II - This ability forms a dissonant bond with your opponent, draining endurance over time and transferring it to you.
- Sage’s Endowment I – This bond forms a harmonious bond with your ally, transferring your energy to them over time.
